Because of Your Generosity, Families at Hall Neighborhood House Have a Place to Rest

At Hall Neighborhood House, we believe that supporting families means meeting them where they are and helping provide the resources they need to build a strong and stable future.

On September 16th, one of our Early Learning families experienced the impact of that commitment firsthand.

The family had recently moved into a new apartment, mom was between jobs, and her children were sleeping on the floor on a mattress borrowed from an upstairs neighbor. The request was simple: she and her children needed beds.

Thanks to your support and generosity, and an amazing partnership with CT Beds, we were able to say “yes”—we delivered new beds, mattresses, bedding, and special gifts for her children, and within an hour, the children’s beds were assembled and ready for them. Mom was so grateful, and she couldn’t wait for her children to come home from school and see their new room set up!

For many of us, having a safe and comfortable bed is something we may take for granted. For a family facing financial uncertainty and the challenges that come with starting over, something as simple as a bed can provide comfort, security, and a sense of belonging.

This is what supporting Hall Neighborhood House makes possible.

When you support Hall Neighborhood House, you help us do more than provide programs and services. You help us respond to the real and immediate needs of families in our community. You help us make lives better, build partnerships, and provide tangible support during challenging moments.

This summer alone, you’ve given 12 people new beds, mattresses, and bedding. And that’s just the beginning.

Your generosity allows Hall Neighborhood House to continue being a trusted resource for children and families—not only today, but throughout the many stages of their lives. Together, we are creating a community where families know they are not alone and where every child has the opportunity to feel safe, cared for, and supported.
